Today, each of us has a role in supporting a greener world. We all share equally both the opportunities and the challenges of building sustainable communities and a healthier planet. Business as usual means that salons are dumping tens of thousands of kilograms of solid waste into landfills.
At our salon, we understand how important it is to advocate environmental stewardship, to reclaim our habitat and urban spaces, and to advance positive green change. Our salon has taken a number of changes in support of this.
Our lights are full-spectrum LEDs which offer vitamin D benefits and contain no mercury or phosphor, while consuming 90% less power over than standard light bulbs. Additionally, we use an on-demand hot water tank, heating only as much water as is being used at any given time. We ensure that our foils, color tubes, papers and plastics are recycled and/or repurposed in an environmentally responsible way. We keep people AND the planet beautiful!
